The world is currently experiencing an unprecedented technological transformation driven by artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, autonomous systems, advanced wireless communications, and sustainable engineering solutions. These rapid developments are reshaping critical sectors such as healthcare, transportation, industrial manufacturing, energy, and smart infrastructure, enabling highly connected intelligent systems capable of real-time data processing, automation, and autonomous decision-making. However, alongside these remarkable advancements, major research and engineering challenges have emerged, particularly in ensuring the dependability, reliability, safety, and cybersecurity of modern interconnected systems. The increasing complexity of embedded platforms, IoT ecosystems, communication networks, and critical infrastructures demands robust and secure solutions that can operate effectively under evolving threats and dynamic environments. Moreover, the global transition toward sustainability requires innovative technologies that integrate engineering excellence with environmental responsibility. In this context, the 1st International Conference on Intelligent, Dependable, Emerging, Autonomous, and Sustainable Engineering Technology (IDEASET-2026) aims to serve as an international scientific forum for researchers, engineers, academics, and industry experts to present and discuss cutting-edge research and practical innovations aligned with the conference tracks.
